Day 6
Within the last few weeks there have been a plethora of media awards that have came out to recognize members of our state champion girls varsity basketball team. Recently the New York State Sportswriters Association came out with their state honors list. Coach Steiner would like to take a second and recognize some players being named to the Class D girls all-state team. Chloe Gafford for being named 9th team all-state, Elyza Smith for being named 7th team all-state, Margie Barton for being named to the all- state 2nd team, and huge congratulations to Emeline Barton who was named by the New York Sportswriters Association as the Class D girls state Player of the Year. What a huge honor. LaFargeville had the most representatives on all-state teams of any Section 3 school. Congratulations ladies! What an awesome accomplishment.
